Prestige and tradition
Our reputation is founded on our outstanding record in teaching and research. Our alumni include two Nobel Laureates, both graduates of the medical school. Macfarlane Burnet (MBBS 1922) received the Nobel Prize in 1960 and John Eccles (MBBS 1925) was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1963.
