Anatomy and pathology collectionsThe Harry Brookes Allen Museum combines the faculty's significant anatomy and pathology collections. It contains more than 12,000 specimens, some dating back to the early 1900s. These are rotated on a regular basis to complement the curricula in the faculty's teaching programs. There are more than 3,000 specimens on display at any one time. The museum also contains displays of historical interest including the Wood Jones collection of comparative anatomy and a series of death masks including those of famous Australian bushrangers, Ned Kelly and Mad Dog Morgan. The museum is open to current and former students and staff in the faculty for study and research. Curator: Rita Hardiman |
