Our structure

The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences provides high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate coursework and research programs in medicine, dental science, physiotherapy, nursing, psychology, population health, rural health and the life sciences.

The faculty's schools and departments and centres provide these academic programs. The faculty's strength lies in its links with leading hospitals, research organisations and research consortia. Its clinical schools are located in several of Melbourne's most prestigious teaching hospitals and in hospitals that service large rural areas of the state.

Administration and services for the faculty are provided by the Office of the Dean , the Medical Education Unit, the Faculty International Unit and the Faculty IT Unit, comprising the Biomedical Multimedia Unit and IT support services.
